What staff office will help me with my legal matter?

If you are seeking legal assistance for a legal matter that is entitled to office work services, and if the Plan has a staff office in the state where you live, you will be referred to a Plan staff attorney for assistance. The Plan emphasizes assistance by phone and email. We have offices in 11 states and 23 locations.

Plan staff offices handle covered office work matters. If you need help for a legal matter that is covered for office work services, and if the Plan has a staff office in the state where you live, you will be referred to a Plan staff attorney in your state.

In some states, or areas in certain states, where there is no Plan staff office, you will be referred to a Cooperating Attorney with whom the Plan has made special arrangements to provide all the office work services in those states.

Plan offices do not handle legal issues that go beyond covered office work. Those non-covered matters that are entitled to a low-cost referral are referred to a Cooperating Attorney. The Plan has contracts with Cooperating Attorneys in all 50 states who have signed a contract with the Plan to handle non-covered legal matters for eligible participants at reduced rates. We will make an effort to provide you with a referral that is convenient to you.
